At VideoCC, we believe that the smallest details can make the biggest difference in your workflow. We're constantly listening to your feedback to refine the tool, and our latest update is a direct result of that process.
Greater Precision for Detailed Work
You asked for more granular control when navigating videos, and we heard you. We've officially replaced the ±2s seek buttons with new ±1s buttons.
While a 2-second jump is useful, the new 1-second interval provides the precision needed for tasks like:
- Perfecting Subtitle Timings: Nudging the playback by a single second can be the difference between a good subtitle and a great one.
- Pinpointing Exact Moments: When you need to capture a timestamp at the very beginning of a word or action, the 1-second seek gets you there without overshooting.
Your Workflow, Your Control
The ±5s and ±30s intervals remain for broader navigation. This change is all about giving you the right tool for the job. Remember, you can also click any seek button to make it the active interval for the arrow key hotkeys, allowing for customized, rapid seeking right from your keyboard.
Thanks for your valuable feedback. Happy captioning!
